Welcome to my website. David Agius is my name.
I perform, create, live and breathe music.

By the tender age of four, I was a typical boy. Happy, full of life, compassionate towards my baby brother and everything was a million miles an hour. My favourite cartoons were ‘Tom and Jerry’ and ‘He-Man’, and I loved footy. I had two best friends, and we were inseparable. A ukulele, and a portable cassette player..

I could be seen or heard anywhere around the house recording myself singing and listening back to it over and over. When I was done with that I was listening to songs by Elvis Presley, Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers and the hit song of 1987 "‘La Bamba’ on repeat. (There’s video evidence of this somewhere on a VHS)

My keen interest in music saw my Father borrow a full sized guitar for me to tinker on and I became obsessed. Many years later I still listen to Elvis and I’m still recording myself.

My passion for music was never a hobby. I knew from an early age that I wanted to make a living from music and I’ve been fortunate enough to make this a reality.

My journey alongside music has seen me regularly perform at venues across Sydney incorporating many styles of music. From intimate wine bars behind a piano to large clubs rocking out with my band. Weddings, parties, corporate function and everything in between. I work solo, duo, three and four piece band.

I enjoy being creative in the studio. I have a modest set up in my creative space that allows me to record whatever it is that comes to mind. Cover songs for gig promotions and continually working on original music.
